Everyday People

hero-image

Appointed “the coolest day party in the world” by Vice, event and cultural platform Everyday People knows how to have a good time. Established in 2012 by Chef Roble Ali, Saada Ahmed and DJ Moma, what began as a small brunch series in New York City’s Lower Eastside has since grown into a large scale multi-city residency program with global activations that are meant to celebrate the African diaspora and get people dancing. As described by the New York Times, it’s “a daytime dance party that’s genuinely celebrating blackness” in its many forms, all the while serving to spark meaningful dialogue and community-driven action.

For your listening and non-stop dancing pleasure, Everyday People delivered us with a curated playlist featuring tracks from the likes of Kali Uchis, Outkast, Sunni Colon and others.
